Sheena Patel is co-director of John Jacobs Studio along with her husband Toby Jacobs.  She is the studio's colour restorer, installation and interior designer.

Her artwork is very personal and expressive.  She uses all media with contrasting and complementary colours to create complex and perfectly balanced forms.  As well as minute and detailed work she also expresses with total freedom and open brush strokes.  In particular she has worked with textiles and texture in general, for example mixing sand with paint.  Images come to her from dreams and visual observations, but her artwork comes from the inner feelings of that observation.
