Modern Art
M.F.Husain is probably the most important figure in Indian Modern Art. He is one of the most celebrated and recognised Indian artists of the 20th Century. He was dubbed "Picasso of India" by Forbes in 2006 and his work "Voices" sold in 2020 for a record $2.5M.
John Jacobs Studio is presenting a collection of very rare unseen line drawings on acetate that have been digitally restored from photocopies in the personal records of Janardan who was close friends with M.F.Husain.
Authenticity has been verified by various auction houses. Details can be provided.
The coloured versions are posthumous collaborations between M.F.Husain and Janardan, who is arguably the only artist alive today that is qualified to do such a thing. Being friends with and long-term mentored by M.F.Husain, we feel sure that he would have been more than happy to allow Janardan to complete his works. The restored line drawings were printed out and hand-painted by Janardan.
Available as limited edition prints and NFTs.

Second set of drawings on acetate by M.F.Husain, presented here with hand-painted colours by Janardan.
The final set of drawings are very rare. These are old, discoloured photographs of these lost works. They are being digitally restored back to line drawings. They are all themed on esoteric Tantra: the sacred interplay of male and female energies. Here you can see the full set of photographs (not all have been restored yet).
