Fintan Whelan has created a unique style of artwork that combines pigments, oils, varnishes and various materials. His images are natural formations that he facilitates and guides with his own singular purpose and urgency. His artwork reinvents the method of applying colour to canvas and can be thought of as a synergy between natural forces and the artist himself. Over many years he has perfected his bespoke techniques and truly mastered this extraordinary artistic process.
Fintan's work brings a unique, vibrant and serene energy to any space, the likes of which we have not seen before.
Fintan is an Artist in Residence at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre (London) and member of BBK (Federal Association of German Fine Artists).
