Dominic Bouffard is a revolutionary artist returning music and rhythm to its origins in pure abstraction. Not only breaking down music, he changes and augments the instruments themselves, producing sounds and rhythms never heard before. Like many master artists, largely self-taught with a masters degree in music, he remains utterly dedicated to the purity of his Art. He has performed his radical, dynamic and deeply stirring work throughout Europe and USA (including the Louvre in Paris) with critical acclaim and awards. Robert Wilson has called Bouffard "one of the most interesting musical talents we have today’". He has collaborated with many high profile musicians, directors and artists.

"Can't Think Without Light"
A deep, haunting and provocative Music Video Artwork. Sounds and Visuals transport you deep within yourself to find your innermost thoughts and existence. It takes you into a half-dream state as if you are opening your eyes after a long sleep and the first light comes in before the objects around you are recognised. It connects the inner light and the outer light. You realise that you are light and you need light to exist and to think. Audio and visuals by Dominic Bouffard using augmented electric guitar, violin bow on guitar and other bespoke instruments.

Sound Drawings
Each one represents a particular sound or style of sound. These sounds are outside the realms of musical notation, created from pure abstraction and various innovative uses of the musical instrument. This notation has been refined over many years for Dominic's own use and this is the first time he has decided to share them as artworks in their own right.
